President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed APC chieftain, Bola Tinubu to spare head the reconciliation of all aggrieved members of the party ahead of the upcoming elections in the country.
The president made this known in a statement released in Abuja by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.
“As part of ongoing efforts to improve cohesion within the All Progressives Congress, President Muhammadu Buhari has designated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead the consultation, reconciliation and confidence building efforts.
“The assignment will involve resolving disagreements among party members, party leadership and political office holders in some states of the Federation,” the two-paragraph statement read.
The statement however failed to mention if the former Lagos governor has accepted the task.
